![]() Water testing
MPL Laboratories has experience and knowledge in the analysis of waters from all sources; including potable, process, groundwater and wastewater. Our staff can advise which analysis may best suite your situation. It is vitally important that the water is sampled and preserved correctly in order to ensure analysis results which accurately reflect the situation you are trying to measure. For water testing, sampling and preservation information is fully outlined in AS/NZS 5667 and other sources such as the American Public Health Association (APHA) ‘Standard Methods for the examination of water and wastewater’. A brief description of the main points to note and preservation information is given in a summary. Generally, samples are best refrigerated and should be received at the laboratory within 24 hours of sampling. More specific information relating to sampling of potable waters, cyanides, metals and nutrients is given in various fact sheets. MPL Laboratories will provide appropriate sample bottles with preservatives, however transport costs are usually the responsibility of the client. | In the NewsNo items Subscribe for newsletter |
