Environmental consultants and engineers use our data to quantify the extent of contamination on existing sites, to guide rehabilitation of sites being rezoned for other uses, to provide guidelines for potential site purchasers to ensure they are not inheriting the problems from previous occupiers and to comply with various environmental requirements.

MPL Laboratories has developed areas of expertise in environmental soil testing. This expertise includes inorganic waste characterisation of soil with NATA accredited methods for leachates and totals. Analysis is performed in accordance with Australian Standard Leachate procedures and USEPA approved microwave digestion for metals in soil. MPL Laboratories has NATA accredited analytical methods for Potentially Acid Sulfate Soils and Acid Mine Drainage; or can analyse samples in accordance with the NEPM guidelines.
