![]() Organic analysis
MPL Laboratories has recently increased its capacity with GCMS instrumentation, including the innovative Headspace Trap GCMS from Perkin Elmer for the analysis of Volatile Organic Compounds in water. The headspace trap methodology has been approved as meeting the requirements of USEPA 8260 and eliminates problems often encountered with Purge and trap technologies (such as foaming) which may result in sample contamination. Pesticides, Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH), phenolics and Petroleum hydrocarbons are all analytes of interest for assessment of potentially contaminated sites. MPL Laboratories use GCMS and GCFID instrumentation to meet the analytical requirements for this type of analysis. We are also experienced in the analysis of organic vapours which can be collected on passive samplers or charcoal tubes. The sampling techniques and preservation used for the collection of organic samples will have immense impact on the quality of analytical results. Please confirm the sampling requirements with our customer service staff before submission of samples to the lab. | In the NewsNo items Subscribe for newsletter |
