    NATA Accredits New Envirolab Melbourne Laboratory
    Envirolab Group brings Great Chemistry and Great Service to the Melbourne Market
     
    Envirolab Group is excited to announce that the new Envirolab Services Melbourne Laboratory is now officially in operation.
     
    The Laboratory was granted NATA accreditation on 10 August 2012 and is now available to accept samples. The Envirolab Group has introduced our Melbourne laboratory in response to local demand, allowing us to expand our testing services nationally. Our in-house testing capabilities include the following in a variety of enviro matrices:
    • Full VIC-EPA suite
    • Triazole fungicides
    • SVOC (USEPA 8270) list containing approx 223 compounds
    • Synthetic pyrethroids
    • TCLP, ZHE, ASLP, SPLP, MEP
    • PCB in oil
    • PCB Aroclors and Congeners
    • Metals in paint, filters and swabs, soil and water
    • VOC, VAC, VHC, MAH
    • Hexavalent Cr in filters, swabs, soil, water
    • Speciated phenols
    • Physical properties pH EC TSS TDS
    • Phthalates
    • Total Fluoride
    • PAHs
    • Ferrous iron
    • Carbamates
    • Sodium Absorption Ratio
    • Herbicides
    • Triazines
    • OCP, OPP
    • Dust deposition
    • TSP in Ambient Air
    • Nutrients
    • Anions & cations
    • Dust deposition
    • Petroleum Hydrocarbons, TRH, TRHsilica, aliphatic aromatics speciation
     
    Other tests such as asbestos, acid sulphate soils, air toxics and extended OHS samples will be tested in our Sydney and Perth labs.
     
    The new lab is situated in the convenient location of Scoresby in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, the site is easily accessible via the Eastlink and Monash Freeway. The contact details for the Melbourne Lab are:
