Common analysis groups
These are routine groups of analysis that have been designed to cover many of the enquiries received at MPL Laboratories. Special groups can be designed to suit individual requirements.
Standard water testing SWA

Standard water testing is designed to measure the general quality of water which may be used for a variety of purposes including stock water, irrigation or aquaculture. |

Chemical drinking water testing DWA
|
This analytical suite is specifically designed for drinking water. Chemicals in this group may cause health or taste problems in drinking water. |
|
|
|
Extended water testing EWA
|
Similar to SWA and DWA, this analysis includes extra heavy metals which may be present in water. These extra analytes are less common in drinking water, but may be useful for environmental monitoring purposes. |

Bore water testing
|
The bore water analysis is designed if bore water is to be used in the home. These parameters are those filtration companies often require before recommending an appropriate filtration system. |

Micro analysis
|
Designed to measure possible bacterial contamination in drinking water. Often combined with DWA to measure potability (suitability for drinking)

|
Nutrients
|
Heavy nutrient loads in water bodies can lead to algal blooms. Nutrients can come from fertilisers and household waste.

|
Wastewater
|
This group is designed to analyse if waste water is suitable for re-use for irrigation or discharge.

|
Designed to check if domestic bore water is suitable quality to refill swimming pools
